Lee Humphrey
Director of Basketball
Lee Humphrey played college basketball for the University of Florida, and was a key member of the Florida Gators teams that won back-to-back NCAA national championships in 2006 and 2007. He set both the season and career records at Florida for three-point field goals, making 113 in back-to-back seasons and 288 in his college career. He played professionally in Europe and after retirement received his Master of Business Administration from Florida International University. In the NCAA men's basketball season, Humphrey is an analyst for the radio broadcasts of Florida Gator men's basketball games. As the Director of Basketball at Cornerstone, he will oversee the creation and growth of the school’s basketball programs from 4 year olds through high school players. He will offer camps, clinics and leaguers for CCA students & community members. Coach Humphrey not only will train champion athletes, he will create an atmosphere of fun and support aiming to help student athletes excel athletically and academically. He is married to his college sweetheart, Chelsea and is a proud father of three sons who attend CCA!

Andreas Charalambous
Director of Soccer
Andreas Charalambous has a bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing and Management and brings a wealth of coaching experience to Cornerstone Classical Academy. Andreas obtained his coaching and talent identification qualifications in England, where he coached youth soccer and worked for Manchester Football Association. His passion for soccer and nurturing talent has driven him to help young athletes reach their full potential. In addition to coaching, Andreas has experience working in the sports technology industry and collaborating with professional soccer teams in Europe. His experience in integrating data analysis and innovative tech solutions into performance coaching has given him valuable insights into modern player development. As the Director of Soccer at Cornerstone, he will oversee the creation and growth of the school’s soccer programs, aiming to help student athletes excel athletically and academically. Andreas was born in South Africa and raised in Cyprus, where he played soccer for AEP Paphos FC. He and his wife, Vanessa, have two young sons.

Solimar Cestero
Director of Volleyball
Coach Solimar Cestero was born and raised in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, and started playing volleyball when she was nine years old. She moved to Jacksonville, Florida to pursue a career in Health Science while playing Division 1 volleyball. Throughout her college career at the University of North Florida, she received several ASUN accolades as well as setting UNF NCAA D1 records. Following her five-year college career, she moved on to compete professionally in countries like Hungary, Cyprus, and Puerto Rico. As a long-time member of the Puerto Rican National Team, she expanded her international experience by competing in Pan-American Games, NORCECA tournaments, and Olympic qualifiers in places like Mexico, Japan, Canada, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica. Coach Soli brings incredible energy, passion, and experience to our program and will be a game-changer for our student-athletes.

Blake Barnes
Director of Football
In high school Coach Barnes was the Gatorade Mississippi Player-of-the-Year, played football at the University of Georgia and played on the Sugar Bowl Champion Team. Coach Barnes has coached football for 15 years at various levels. From 2010-2014, he worked for the International Federation of American Football, coaching and developing football programs across the European Union. He worked with the Paris Flash of France, Calanda Bronocs of Switzerland, Roma Marines of Italy, the Munich Cowboys of Germany, among others. Following his time with IFAF, he coached at Providence High School with our Athletic Director Coach Trent. He has worked individually with athletes for over 10 years in specific position development and overall athletic performance. We are honored to have him as the Director of Football at CCA over our Spartan Football Program. Coach Barnes is married to Kelly and is a proud Dad of two CCA Spartans.

Michael Jurney
Director of Baseball
Michael Jurney joins Cornerstone Classical Academy as the Head Varsity Coach and Director of the Baseball Program, bringing with him a lifelong passion for the game and a deep commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. In his full-time role, Michael works as a Route Sales Representative for BlueTriton Brands, where he has proudly served for the past 11 years.
A devoted husband and father of three, Michael is a man of faith and a member of East Pointe Church.
He is the founder and president of Youth to Champions, a nonprofit organization focused on building character, resilience, and leadership in young athletes through the principles of the “warrior mentality.” Guided by the motto “Today’s Youth, Tomorrow’s Champions,” the organization emphasizes personal growth, discipline, and purpose beyond sports. Michael is also the cofounder and vice president of the Seal Team Travel Baseball Program, where he helps lead the development of competitive teams grounded in accountability, mental toughness, and strong fundamentals. In addition to his nonprofit and coaching work, Michael led the revitalization of a local park on the city’s Southside, bringing together a team of volunteers to restore youth recreational opportunities in a thriving community. This initiative gave birth to the Southside Baseball Association, where he continues to serve as founder and president, creating new pathways for local youth to engage in both competitive and recreational baseball. Before his role at Cornerstone, Michael served as the Program and Events Manager at Walk off Charities, where he was actively involved in community engagement and organizational planning. From his early days playing T-ball to coaching travel baseball, Michael’s life has been deeply rooted in the game. Now, as part of the Spartan family, he is excited to lead Cornerstone’s baseball program to new heights, cultivating a culture of excellence, integrity, and teamwork.

Lindsay Mabrey
Director of Cheerleading
Coach Lindsay Mabrey is the Director of Cheerleading at CCA. She grew up in a big family in Albuquerque New Mexico playing softball and in 8th grade began cheering on the Varsity team. She was on the competition cheer team throughout high school and also cheered with the Albuquerque All-stars. At the UCA Camp Coach Lindsay won the All-American Award. She fell in love with cheerleading and found her true passion. In 2021, her children began attending Cornerstone and she volunteered to start a cheer program. She started with six girls and grew the program to over 120 preschool through high school students. She also started five competition teams with 90 competitive cheerleaders who have 21 first place wins and also winning a grand championship with CCA's mini team! Coach Lindsay has founded American Athletics, which will train cheerleaders and other athletes at the highest level of competition. She is a true inspiration with unmatched dedication and drive. She is married to Rick and is a proud mom of 4 children. Coach Lindsay truly brought the Spartan Spirit alive at CCA!
