A Strong Start With Purpose

More than preparation for school. A foundation for the kind of person your child becomes.

We believe education should shape not just strong students, but confident individuals and future leaders ready to contribute to and lead within their communities.

More Than Pre-K.
A Foundation That Lasts.

At Cornerstone Classical Academy Preschool, our Program proudly introduces young learners to Classical Education, building a strong foundation for success as they continue their academic journey through our lower and upper schools. Our mission is to help every child reach their fullest potential intellectually, physically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally. Our teachers are state-certified and consistently model the language of inquiry and discovery. They guide our students in large group circle time, small group and individual center exploration. We introduce early literacy, mathematics, science, and history while also strengthening fine motor skills and supporting social and emotional growth. In addition to teaching the child valuable academic skills, our teachers help the children become familiar with the classroom setting.

They learn:

  • To sit and listen quietly at the appropriate time

  • To raise their hands and wait their turn before talking

  • To follow the teacher’s directions

  • We also teach our students how to play cooperatively, build friendships, and treat others with kindness and respect while learning and practicing the virtues that are central to our school community.

Learning these skills in VPK helps them be better prepared for kindergarten. While the focus in our program is learning and school readiness, there is plenty of time for fun. Through positive reinforcement, we strive to instill the value and joy of learning within each child.
