Summer Tour Date: Wednesday, July 27th
Additional Tours can be scheduled only if offer a 'seat'.
CCA will accept applications via our Smart Choice enrollment website. Florida law requires a random lottery when there are more student applicants than seats available in a particular grade. NOTE: You will be notified of lottery results via the email and/or phone number provided.
Step 2: Receive an Offer to Register or Wait-list Status
The number of student seats available in each grade will determine how many are sent offers to register. If your student is selected for a seat, you will be notified of the acceptance. If your student is placed on a wait-list due to more applicants than seats available, you will be notified of wait-list status.
Approximate number of students in each core class will be:
18 students in kindergarten through grade 3;
22 students in grades 4 through 8; and
25 students in grades 9 through 12.
Enrollment in Cornerstone Classical Academy (CCA) will be open to all students within
Duval County Public Schools and surrounding areas in accordance with Florida Statutes.
During the 2022-2023 school year, CCA will have grades K through 8th and add a subsequent grade each year until we reach the 12th grade. CCA will not limit enrollment until it has reached its approved capacity in accordance with Florida’s class size amendments. Our application process and allowable preferences follow the requirements of Controlled Open Enrollment as set forth in the state statutes.
In accordance with Florida Statutes, CCA offers enrollment preference to the student populations including siblings of a student enrolled in CCA, children of a founding board member of CCA, and children of CCA employees.
CCA admits students of any race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It doesn't discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
